OUR STORY

2004

Dustin’s Repair & Auto Sales started in 2004 as a small repair shop operating out of a single-stall shed.

During the first year, Dustin Brummett worked a full-time job during the day, then spent his evenings and weekends taking on nearly any repair project that could fit inside the tiny shop. The auto sales side of the business focused mainly on affordable vehicles, typically priced at $5,000 or less. Dustin worked long hours, seven days a week, to build the business from the ground up.

Over the years, the shop evolved into a more specialized operation. In 2012, the facility doubled in size, allowing for increased workflow and expanded services. Around that time, the business began focusing primarily on late-model Ford Super Duty trucks, specializing in rebuilding and repairing them for customers.

2017

At the end of 2017, a major addition was completed, adding office space, a bathroom, and significantly more room to work on trucks.

A few years later, Dustin realized the business had grown beyond what could be managed with occasional help from neighbors and a part-time employee handling oil changes and cleanup duties. In late 2019, he hired his first full-time technician to keep up with increasing demand and more complex repairs.

In 2023, an additional garage with five stalls was built directly across from our repair shop, providing valuable extra capacity. This added space allows more trucks to be stored and our team to take on a greater number of projects simultaneously.

CURRENT

Today, Dustin’s Repair & Auto Sales employs several technicians and continues to expand, including a new business venture: Brummett’s Auto Body.

From late 2020 until early 2026, our auto body team worked from the original single-stall shed where the business began in 2004. We knew that if we wanted to continue our upward growth, we need to expand our auto body work capabilities. The trailer house on the property was removed and replace by a new auto body shop, which the team officially moved into in March 2026.

After 2 decades in business, Dustin’s Repair & Auto Sales and Brummett’s Auto Body look forward to serving our community and continuing to earn your trust for decades to come.
